    Atlantis runs summer shadowing programs that focus primarily on observing medical doctors, as opposed to dentists. However, we have also had pre-dental students join our programs, as a way to add a healthcare experience to their resume. Even though you wouldn't shadow dentists, you would bring a valuable healthcare observation experience to your future dental school applications. And you would combine that with an unforgettable trip abroad. So, spend the best, most valuable summer of your life shadowing doctors for 60+ hours for 1-9 weeks in Spain, Italy, Greece, and beyond!

    What's in an Atlantis Program?

    Reason to do it # 1:

    Compared to typical pre-health medical shadowing, Atlantis shadowing has greater (1)depth, (2)breadth, (3)quantity, and (4) intercultural perspective.

    Most students don’t prioritize their GPA enough. Doing Atlantis over break accomplishes so much extracurricular-wise that you can cut other activities during the year.
